The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recently approved the fully online degree program in 38 universities across India and is fully eligible to start online classes.
So now, UGC has approved 171 online courses in India; In this way, interested students can complete their course by studying online in 171 UGC approved online courses.
According to the released notification by the UGC, the universities offering online degree courses include 15 deemed universities, 13 states universities and three central universities.

The three central universities are Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Mizoram University.
Jammu University will start online courses of Master of Arts in English) and Master of Commerce entirely online.
