The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a law entrance test conducted yearly by one of the 22 universities on a rotational basis in India. It is a national-level law entrance exam and qualified candidates of this exam get admission to various UG and PG law programs. There are around 3000 seats for UG and 1000 seats for LLM programmes. 22 NLUs offer 5 years of Integrated LLB and 19 NLUs offer 1 year of LLM courses.
CLAT 2023 Application Form
The CLAT application forms were made available on the official website (www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in) on 1st April 2022. It was then extended till 9 May 2022. CLAT 2022 and 2023 will be conducted on 19 June 2022 and 18 December 2022 respectively. The facility of new registration for CLAT 2023 will be available tentatively in August 2022.
How To Apply for CLAT 2023?
Visit the official website and click on the link that appears on the home page. Follow the step by step guide given below.
- Complete the registration process by entering your valid email id and mobile number.
- On successful registration, your account will be created.
- Login with your newly created account credentials and click on the link to apply.
- Enter your personal details, like your name, father’s name, address, academic qualification, etc. Click on Continue.
- Select the exam centre and upload the required document in the described format.
- Pay the application fee through credit card, debit card, net banking etc.
- Finally, submit the application form and take a printout for further references.

CNLUs has released the CLAT 2023 exam dates through its website, the exam will be held on 18th December 2022. So, the eligible candidates can fill out the CLAT 2023 application form tentatively from the month of August 2022.

The NLUs offer 5-year integrated LLB and one-year LLM courses. So, the eligibility criteria depend on the course selection, like UG or PG programs. The minimum eligibility criteria to appear in CLAT 2023 exam are as follows:
