First of all, you have to open the official website portal of Indian Bank to activate net banking through ATM card. Here you will find the ‘New User’ option on the login page.
Before proceeding, you have two options to choose ‘Individual and Corporate’ at the top of the page, by default it is on Individual.
These are some steps to complete Indian Bank Net Banking through ATM card without going to the branch.
Indian bank Net banking Online Registration
STEP 01: After selecting the ‘Individual’ at the top of the page, select the ‘New User’ option, the next page will appear.
STEP 02: Here, you have to enter CIF number or account number, registered mobile number, validate the following expression and then click on ‘Submit’.
STEP 03: After submitting you will receive OTP on your registered mobile number, enter OTP and click on confirm.
STEP 04: On this page, you will find your name, CIF number, mobile number and your address. Below you have to select the facility type, like ‘View Facility Only’ and ‘View and Transaction Facility‘. Here the best option for you is the ‘View and Transaction Facility‘ and Confirm.
STEP 05: Enter your password and confirm the same password and click on ‘Submit‘ option.
STEP 06: On submitting, the next page will appear, here you have to choose two questions and enter the answer and tap on ‘Submit’.
STEP 07: Now, you will get two options to activate net banking; choose to activate through an ATM card here and confirm. On the next page, please tick the check box of terms & conditions and tap on.
STEP 08: Here, you have to fill in the details of the ATM card, such as ATM card number, expiry date and ATM PIN. Click on ‘Submit.
STEP 09: As soon as you submit, the message will appear on the page, Success!!! The online banking facility has been activated successfully. But here, you have to create a transaction password for net banking, which is very important for you during online transactions and profile updates.
So, after completing all these steps, net banking will be activated in Indian Bank. Now you can get all online banking facilities anytime and anywhere in the world.
How to Create Transaction Password
STEP 10: There will be an option to create a transaction password during the first login. To log in for the first time, you have to go to the login page of the Indian Bank. Here your user ID is your CIF number, and you have to enter the password you had created.
