JNV Admission

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) is held in April yearly. The eligible students can get admission in classes VI, IX and XI. There are 15 JNVs in Andhra Pradesh, and you can get admission by qualifying JNVST exam.

JNV Medium

The JNV medium of instruction is mother tongue/regional language up to class VII or VIII. After this, the JNV’s medium of instruction will be Hindi/English.

JNV Fee Structure

Navodaya Vidyalayas are affiliated with CBSE and provide free education from classes VI to XII. It is a co-educational residential school that provides free boarding and accommodation, free uniforms, textbooks, stationery and rail and bus fare.

However, a nominal fee of Rs.600/- per month is charged from the students of classes IX to XII as Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. But, SC/ST category students from below poverty line families are free from the fees. But, students whose parents are government are charged Rs 1500/- per month.
