New List of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) in India 2022

There are around 661 JNVs across India, and all are affiliated with CBSE. Below is the complete new list of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in India. So, before admission to the JNV, check the availability of JNV in your location. For your information, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are fully residential schools from classes 6th to 12th.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti is an autonomous body under MHRD, which runs JNVs. To get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, students need to qualify JNVST examination.

JNVST exam is conducted every year in April month all over India. The admission form for the JNVST is available in September. So, check once; we have shared the list of JNV schools in India which is as follows:

JNV Admission 2023-24

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) is held in April every year at a national level. Students who clear the JNV Selection Test (JNVST) will get admission to classes VI, IX and XI as per the selection test.

JNV Medium

The medium of JNVs is regional language up to class VII or VIII. After this, the medium of instruction in all Navodaya Vidyalayas will be Hindi/English.

JNV Fee Structure

Navodaya Vidyalayas are affiliated with CBSE and provide free education from classes VI to XII. It is a co-educational residential school that provides free boarding and accommodation, free uniforms, textbooks, stationery and rail and bus fare to the students.

However, a nominal fee of Rs.600/- per month is charged from the students of classes IX to XII as Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi. But, SC/ST category students from below poverty line families are free from the fees. But, students whose parents are government are charged Rs 1500/- per month. The fee structure of JNVs is as follows:
