JNVST 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying online for Classes VII, IX and XI, you must check the JNVST Eligibility Criteria details. Candidates born before May 2010 and after April 2014 will be eligible to apply for admission in classes 9 and 6.

Navodaya Admission Selection Process

  • The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance test for admission to classes VI and IX.
  • Class XI Admission Selection is made by lateral entry. The merit list is to be prepared based on the 10th class marks scored by the applicant.

JNV Seat Reservation Criteria

  • 75% of seats are reserved for selected district applicants from rural areas and the remaining seats are reserved for applicants from urban areas of the district.
  • Reservation for SC/ST candidates in the district in proportion to their population but not less than the national average.
  • 03% seats are also reserved for disabled children, i.e. Hearing Impaired, Orthopaedically Handicapped and Visually Handicapped candidates.
  • 1/3rd of seats are reserved for girl students.
