NDA Exam date 2022 has been released. So, now candidates have to prepare well to qualify for the NDA entrance exam. The NDA exam for the first session will be held on 10th April 2022, and the second session will be on 4th September 2022. The application form is going to be released on 22nd December 2021 for both sessions (NDA-I and NDA-II). NDA entrance exam is conducted for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force academies. UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts the entrance exam twice a year. It is a very tough national-level exam for the candidates, which allows the qualified candidates for selection in the training academies of NDA.

For admission to National Defense Academy, candidates have to qualify for the written test, SSB interview and Medical test. SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview is mainly focused on intelligence & personality test. Medical Test, it is mandatory for all candidates to be fit in the medical examination.

NDA 2022 Notification

The exam date for the NDA Exam 2022 is released on 22nd December 2021 on the official website of the UPSC. So, willing candidates can apply for the NDA-I and NDA-II exams for 2022. Here are exam dates for the NDA 2022 are as follows.

NDA 2022 Application Form

The application form for NDA 2022 will be released on 22 December 2021 for the first session of NDA and on 18 May 2022 for the second session. So, candidates are required to apply online using the official websites of UPSC (www.upsconline.nic.in). Applicants can fill out the application in online mode only.

The last date for submission of the application will be 14 January 2022 for NDA 1st session and 10th June 2022 for NDA 2nd session. All the applicants are required to provide a valid and active e-mail ID while filling out the online application form.

The candidate must have photo ID card details. This photo ID can be Aadhar Card / Voter Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License etc. The photo ID card details have to be filled in the online application form, and the scanned copy of the photo ID will also have to be uploaded.

Application Registration Process

Applicants must fill out the application form correctly, as no modification will be allowed after the submission of the application form. The online registration process will be in two parts – Part-I and Part-II. Applicants have to fill out the registration form with their basic details in Part-I.

In Part II, candidates have to upload their scanned photo ID and signature. Along with that, they have to select the exam centre and pay the application fee. After the completion of the application process, take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.

NDA Eligibility Criteria

These are the important conditions of eligibility criteria for NDA 2022, which the candidate must fulfil before applying, or else he/she will get rejected. So the eligibility criteria for NDA 2022 are as follows.

  • Nationality: The candidate must be unmarried and a Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit (IMA, INA & IAFA): Age should be between 16.5 to 19.5 years for IMA, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
  • Educational Qualification: 12th pass from a recognized board/Institute.
  • Physical Standard: Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to NDA.

Educational Qualification:

Indian Military Academy (IMA): 12th class pass/equivalent from a recognized board.
Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass ( Physics and Mathematics) /equivalent from a recognized board.

Indian Air Force Academy: 12th class pass with Physics and Mathematics or equivalent from a recognized board.

NDA 2022 Syllabus

NDA syllabus will be designed on two main subjects which will be based on Mathematics and General Ability Test. Mathematics is divided into several subjects. General Ability Test consists of two papers English and General Knowledge. The paper of English carries 200 marks whereas General Knowledge is of 400 marks. NDA Syllabus 2022, which is as follows:

Algebra: Sets, Cartesian Products, Complex Numbers, Relations, Equivalence Relations. Real numbers, modulus, cube root, conversion of a number to decimal in the binary system and vice versa. Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions. Quadratic Equations, Linear Inequalities, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem and Logarithms

Calculus: Composite functions, one to one, onto and inverse functions. The notion of limits, Standard limits, Continuity of functions, Algebraic operations on continuous functions. The concepts of real-valued functions, domains, ranges, graphs of a function etc.
