SBI Yono Quick Pay

SBI YONO Quick Pay service has been added, where you do not need to enter login credentials during the transaction. Here you have to authenticate with your Touch ID for fund transfer. To avail of this facility, you need to biometrically enable your fingerprint in the SBI YONO app.

You have to authenticate your biometric, i.e. touch ID, for Yono access. Here, you can transfer money in a few steps through four reliable transfer methods: These are Contacts, VPA, Scan, and Beneficiary.

But, to transfer money from one bank to another through NEFT, and RTGS, you need to enter your login details and complete other formalities. Moreover, you have to wait for beneficiary approval, which can take time to approve, and it’s a long process you will not like at all. 

Hence, SBI YONO has added a ‘Quick Pay‘ option for instant fund transfer, where you can transfer by Scanning, VPA or Contacts without login credentials.

SBI YONO Quick Pay Through Touch ID

Sbi Quick Pay service is a service of SBI, which you will now find in the YONO app, where you can quickly transfer funds from your bank to other banks without login credentials.

To get these facilities, you have to enable biometric (Touch ID), which allows you to YONO access. Check below if you want to know how to enable/disable the UPI Service in the YONO app.

Here, to take advantage of these services in the SBI YONO, your device must have a fingerprint sensor, and it should be activated on your phone.

SBI Quick Pay Through Contacts

First of all, open your SBI Yono app, click on Quick Pay and authenticate with your Touch ID. Here you will get four options to transfer money.

Select the ‘Contacts’ option, enter the phone number and amount, and click on Pay. The OTP will be received on your mobile number. Enter OTP and click on the Submit option.

SBI Quick Pay through VPA

VPA is a virtual payment address of UPI, and you may think that the UPI ID is a VPA. However, if you don’t have a VPA, you create a virtual payment address in the SBI Yono app. 

Here, you have to enter a virtual payment address (VPA or UPI ID), and Amount, and click on the Pay option. Then, enter OTP, which you will receive on your registered mobile, and submit.

Money transfer via scan: Here, you can scan the QR code directly or select it from your phone gallery. The process ahead is all the same.

Through Beneficiary

The beneficiary is the most used process for transferring funds from one bank to another. You have to add beneficiary details before transferring money. 

It may take about half an hour for approval when adding a beneficiary, but it has to be done only once. First, a selected beneficiary has to be chosen from the existing beneficiary list. 

After that, enter the amount and select the “Pay” option. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile, enter OTP and submit it.

How To Enable Touch ID in SBI YONO?

To enable or disable biometrics in SBI YONO, log in with your net banking user ID and password or M-PIN. Select the Service Request and tap on the Settings option. Your phone must have a fingerprint sensor before proceeding.

Here you will find enable/disable biometric option for YONO access at the bottom. Tap on and if off, turn on, select the checkbox and submit. 

You have to authenticate with your fingerprint to continue, enter OTP, and submit. In this way, you can enable your touch ID in the SBI YONO app.
