Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a compulsory entrance exam for aspiring candidates to become teachers in India’s government school. It is necessary to pass (60%) the TET written test and interview.

TET Eligibility Criteria for 2021
The eligibility criteria for Paper 1 of TET Exam 2021 are as follows…
- The candidate should have passed 12th standard in any group with at least 50% marks with Diploma in Education (DEd)
- The candidate must have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4-year graduation in elementary education
- Candidates should graduate in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education
- Candidate should be minimum 18 to 35/40 years in age
The eligibility criteria for Paper 2 of TET Exam 2021 are as follows…
- Candidates should graduate in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education
- Graduate candidates with 50% marks and one year bachelor in education
- 12th passed in any group with four year graduate in elementary education
- Obtain any valid bachelor degree, (bachelor of education, bachelor of elementary education)
- Candidate should be minimum 18 to 35/40 years in age
TET Exam 2021 Syllabus
The TET syllabus of 2021 mainly consists of two papers, paper 1 and paper 2.
- TET Paper 1: Candidates of paper 1 can teach classes I to V.
- TET Paper 2: Candidates of paper 2 can teach classes VI to X.
