TET 2022 Eligibilty & Syllabus

TET syllabus consists of two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II

  • TET Paper-I: Candidates of Paper-I can teach classes I to V.
  • TET Paper-II: Candidates of Paper-II can teach classes VI to X.
TET Paper-I
  • You must have passed the 12th standard in any group with at least 50% marks with Diploma in Education (DEd)
  • Must have passed 12th class with at least 50% marks and passed in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education
  • Graduate in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education
  • Minimum of 18 to 35/40 years of age
TET Paper-II
  • Graduate in the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education
  • Graduate candidates with 50% marks and one year bachelor in education (BEd)
  • 12th passed in any group with four year graduate in elementary education
  • Valid bachelor degree, (bachelor of education, bachelor of elementary education)
  • Minimum 18 to 35/40 years in age
