State Bank of India (SBI) provides many banking facilities to its customers, where user can make changes in their account. Therefore, to access all these banking functions, you will need a net banking username and password. If you have it then no problem but if you have forgotten then you can also reset it.
There are 2 ways, you can reset your SBI forgot username and password through your profile password and ATM card.

Steps to Reset Your “Forgot Username” in SBI
Go to the SBI online and select “Forgot username / Login password” link to reset your login password or find your username.
You can reset your forgotten SBI username and password in two ways, which are as follows:

- Using Profile Password

To get the forgot username, click on the ‘Forgot login password’ option on SBI official website. Here you will get the username after completing only four steps.

Step 1: On the next page, you have to choose the option of ‘Forgot Username‘. You must have a CIF number in your hand (which will be found in the bank’s passbook) to proceed.

Step 2: Enter the CIF number, select your country, INB registered mobile number and text image, and Submit.
Step 3: On submission you will receive an OTP, enter the OTP (which will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number) and Confirm. You will get your ‘Username‘ on this page, and it will also be sent to your registered mobile via SMS.
How to Reset forgot Password in SBI?
The following steps have to be followed as given in the above steps. Here, you only have to choose the ‘Forgot login password’ option and enter the username and account number instead of the CIF number.

Step 1: Select ‘Forgot Login Password’ to reset the login password. Enter a username, account number, country, registered mobile number, and text image, and Submit.

Step 2: On the next page, enter OTP and confirm. (An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile via SMS). You will get three options to reset your Forgot Login Password.
Through ATM Card
Step 3: Select one of the three options, and if you choose the ATM card details, enter your ATM card details and click Submit. But, if you choose the profile password, you must know your Profile password.

Step 4: So, select Profile Password and Click Submit. Enter the profile password, and click on submit.

Step 5: Here, you will have the option to reset the new login password, enter the new password and confirm it.
Note: The password must be a minimum of eight characters with upper and lowercase letters and a combination of special characters and numbers.
