To use Google Pay, you need to add your bank account for transactions, like bill payments, mobile recharge, fund transfers, etc. Google Pay is a third-party payments app that supports UPI functions for funds transfer. You must be aware that the transaction limit varies from bank to bank, and it all depends on your bank as all the banks have their own transaction norms. But, if you want to increase your daily transaction limits, you can do so in other ways.
Google Pay is a third-party payments app and you need to link your bank account for transactions. If your bank allows a maximum of 100000/- per day, then your maximum transaction limit will be 100000/-. Google Pay is considered to be the fastest and most secure app for transactions.
Google Pay has millions of users but, you cannot increase your bank’s transaction limit here. You can set your transaction limit of Rs.100000/- or less through Mobile or Internet Banking and not on Google Pay.
Therefore, to change the banking functionality, like transaction limit, domestic and international usage, ATM Pin, etc, you need a banking app. Suppose, you have linked your SBI bank with Google Pay, then you need Yono SBI, Yono Lite or any other SBI app to set the transaction limit.
However, to increase the transaction limit in Google Pay, you need to check the daily transaction limit of your bank. Since Google Pay supports the UPI function, therefore, you can add multiple bank accounts. If the transaction limit of your first bank account is Rs.100000/-, you can add one more bank to Google Pay to increase your daily transaction limit.
But, before proceeding further check the latest transaction limits per day of all banks in India:
